Using PassLane means accepting what follows. It is short because there is not much to it: the site is free, there is no account, and nothing is promised beyond the material itself.

What the material is

Practice questions written from official commercial driver handbooks, 49 CFR Part 383 and the MUTCD, each cited to a document and page. It is study material and nothing more. It is not the question pool used by any licensing agency, it is not endorsed by one, and passing a practice test here does not mean you will pass a real one.

No connection to any agency

We are not affiliated with the FMCSA, any state department of motor vehicles, any department of public safety, or AAMVA. Where a state's rules, fees or test details appear, they are quoted with the document they were read from and the date they were checked, and the agency's own website is always the authority.

Errors

Content is checked and re-checked, and it will still contain mistakes. Nothing here is a guarantee of accuracy or fitness for any purpose, and we accept no liability for a failed test, a fee, or any other loss arising from using the site. If a question looks wrong, check the citation and tell us.

Fair use of the site

Read it, study from it, link to it. Do not scrape the question bank, republish the questions or explanations, or run automated traffic against it. Rate limits apply to starting tests and exist to keep the site up for everyone.

Changes

These terms may change as the site grows. The version on this page is the one that applies, and material changes will be reflected here rather than announced elsewhere.
